Our Studio Shows at the Pottery in Lockbridge take place three times annually. Normally we hold these on Mother's Day weekend, Labor Day weekend, and the second weekend in December. In addition, we have a show in Beckley, West Virginia on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and the Friday after Thanksgiving.
The Studio Shows accentuate what we have been working on, as well as, providing a glimpse of what goes into producing the work. We typically have an off the “wheel” activity for our customers to participate in, be it glazing a vase and watching it being fired in a raku kiln, throwing on a treadle wheel, making bricks, or competing in an unconventional contest for a pottery prize. Customers are refreshed with an array of Donna’s delicious cuisine highlighted by Jeff’s trays, chip and dips, and bowls. The shows are a pleasurable experience for all.
We always have a super selection of pots here at the studio. Whether it is at a show or with a scheduled appointment, we hope to see you soon!
Our first show for 2012 will be May 11 and 12 here at Lockbridge.
