From Beckley or Lewisburg take exit 143 off Interstate 64. Take Lick Creek Road about half a block to Route 20. Go North (right) on Route 20 for 5½ miles, then turn left on Lockbridge Road for 2½ miles. We're in the red house on the right after Lockbridge United Methodist Church.
From Summersville take Route 19 South to Route 60 East to Route 41 South past Babcock State Park. The Mill at Babcock is worth a stop if you have a few minutes. At Danese take the Meadow Bridge Road and it will Tee into Route 20. Go South (right) on Route 20 for one mile. Turn right on Lockbridge Road and you will be at the Pottery in 2 ½ miles.
Lockbridge Road is a loop off of Route 20. The computer maps and GPS units "think" the dirt one lane road is the best way to get to Lockbridge Pottery, computers.... The best way, (unless you want to try out your four wheel drive), is from the Meadow Bridge end and is a paved one lane road.
