I was born with clay in my blood.  My grandfather was a potter and introduced me to clay as a child.  My great-grandfather was also a potter in Germany.  I apprenticed for five years at Berea College in Kentucky and for a year in Germany near where my great-grandfather worked.  My pots are in collections and shows around the world, including West Virginia's Culture and History Museum, The Korean Craft Museum and The Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery.

I strive for beauty in function and want my pots to be appealing to your hand, heart and eye.
